Tree Bracing in Edinburgh

The JWT Tree Services expert climbing Arborists completed tree bracing in Edinburgh.  The tree was climbed by expert climbing arborists using LOLER compliant climbing equipment.
This is a highly specialised structural reinforcement technique used by arborists to limit the movement of weak, cracked, or vulnerable tree limbs.
This non-invasive system utilises lightweight, high-strength hollow braid ropes made from materials like monofilament polypropylenes (such as the Cobra Bracing Systems). These ropes are wrapped loosely around limbs high up in the canopy. As a result, this allows the tree to flex naturally in normal winds – promoting strong wood growth. At the same time, it acts as a shock-absorbing safety net during extreme weather. This is especially valuable in regions such as Edinburgh where mature trees are a prominent feature of the cityscape.
